HOW LIVE CAPTIONING WORKS

How do they do it?

Our stenocaptioners are seasoned professionals with many years of live captioning experience.  Most of our stenocaptioners have in excess of 25 years' experience in the courts, broadcast captioning and CART. They have learnt their craft and honed their skill in a tough workplace that demands accuracy levels above 98%.  They are interpreters who use the human brain and human skill to convert speech into text.  It's a tough job but we wouldn't want to do anything else.

Stenocaptioners are machine shorthand writers who use a stenograph machine to take down the spoken word and special software to assist in translating it into text.
